Doug Marlow and Liz Somerville have been living together for several years. Both are thinking it's time to move on to the next stage in their relationship. Their best friends have twins and each comes up with the idea of keeping the twins for a week so their friends can enjoy some time alone. Both are hoping the other will realize how much they want to be together and have children together.
Now, I've never had twins, but I'm not sure what possessed these people to think that after taking care of twins for an entire week the other would want to run right into marriage and parenthood. That seemed a little strange to me.
This was really a cute story. Both characters spend the whole story trying to trick and fool the other. It ends up that Liz is pregnant and isn't sure that Doug is ready for fatherhood. Keeping the twins is her way to find out just how ready he really is.
It started to get a little far-fetched. But all that aside it was a good story.

Dana is embarrassed about the situation she has gotten herself in and decides to tell everyone that she is married to a Navy pilot who is on an aircraft carried for long periods of time. Alex finds himself hating the "fly-boy" and wishing that Dana wasn't attached.
Another cute story and definitely fun to read.
A Stranger's Son
by Emilie Richards
Robin Lansing works for the local newspaper and decides to try to get an interview with Devin Fitzgerald, the big time rock star. With a little luck her friend gets her hands on two tickets for the party after the show. Robin and her friend go, hoping Robin can get that interview which could lead her into a position with a larger newspaper.
Devin and Robin hit it off immediately and she finds herself back at his apartment. They have more than an interview, but in the morning Robin runs off before Devin awakes.
The story actually begins with Devin heading home for some time-off. There is a terrible storm and he sees a car in the ditch. Stopping to render aid, Devin discovers the person he is attempting to help is very much pregnant and definitely in labor.
You guessed it! Robin and Devin are back together again.
Devin is a great father, he visits twice a month for two days faithfully. He has fallen in love with Robin who insists he is only in love with the idea of being a family. It takes her an entire year to come around and realize he does love her and that they would be the perfect family.
This was an enjoyable story -- I could almost believe it happening. I just wished
it didn't take Robin so long to come to her senses. She continually found
excuses for every justification Devin gave to her with his claims to love her.
