Regency

Everett Giles Carlton, Viscount Blackwood, is looking for a wife, but not in the normal way. He wants to marry an ill and poor woman so that he is soon a widower. He has to marry within 4 days if he wants to get his inheritance. And his father has decided that his bride could not be his mistress.

Fate is working against him. The woman he has married, Sarah Jane Smith, becomes healthy again. Everett recognizes with time that he had luck to find such a wonderful wife. And also Sarah falls in love with her husband.

But why had somebody try to kill her? When Sarah decides to tell Everett the truth it looks like it is to late for both.

The story was very unbelievable in the beginning. Imagine a man marries an unknown, ill woman and when she is healthy again he falls in love with her - sorry too strange for me. However, the story had a few good elements.
