This story gripped me from Page One and held my attention throughout. It is the story of three sisters - Molly, Lena and Tessa McBride. They were separated as children after their drunken father killed their mother and then himself. Molly and Lena went to foster homes and Tessa was adopted.

They each took different paths in life. Molly became a nun/nurse, Lena married Molly's best friend, a doctor named Reece, and Tessa wanted to be an actress. Molly and Lena kept in touch but they did not know what had become of Tessa, and were not allowed to find out.

One night Molly was brutally beaten and raped. Later, she discovers that she is pregnant. Making the toughest decision of her life, she gives the baby to Lena and her husband since Lena found out she is unable to have children.

Tessa goes to Los Angeles to try to become an actress but does not know that her sisters live there. She gets involved with the wrong man and it almost costs her her life. Molly and Reece come to her rescue but do not know who she is at the time.

The sisters are reunited only after another tragedy strikes. Even though it seems impossible at the time, they do find happiness in the end.

JoAnn Ross is one writer you don't want to miss reading. "No Regrets" is compelling and once you pick it up, you won't want to put it down until you've turned the last page.
