I never thought that a book can be so dreadful that I will rate it with 1.0. Well this book was so bad that I was really shocked. After reading one half of it I had only skimmed through the rest.

After her fathers death, Alexandra Benjamin goes to Cairncross Castle. She has the offer to help John Damien Newell's simple-minded brother Samuel. Alexandra should teach him to speak again.

From the first moment Alexandra is fascinated by John Damien, but in the castle govern the evil, strange, and abnormal.

Alexandra has to find out what has happened twenty years before to find peace and love.

If you want to read a GOOD Meagan McKinney book try: "Till Dawn Tames the Night" or "Lionce and Lace".
