"A Father's Promise" by Marta Perry is one of the most warm and romantic stories I've ever read. From page one I felt compelled to read it til the end. A heartwarming story, definitely a romance worth reading.

Leigh Christopher is spending the summer with her sister at their house on the beach. After a bad experience in her previous job, she is looking for a new life with a new career. She is currently working as a waitress and enjoys her niece and nephew and their time on the beach.

Daniel Gregory is up for some changes in his life. The first being a decent baby sitter for his five year old daughter, Sarah, who just happens to be deaf -- and missing.

Daniel and Leigh meet on the beach, Leigh with a frightened five year old in hand, Daniel a frantic father. It doesn't take Daniel very long to realize that Leigh handles Sarah very well, and it wasn't just the fact that she knew sign language.

After some heavy pressure, Daniel convinces Leigh to teach Sarah during the summer. It was the exact line of work she was trying to get out of but as fate would have it, it wasn't meant to be. Fate has other plans for Leigh and Daniel and they just might include a happy-ever-after.

This is definitely a book to watch for. The release date is not known to me yet, but I do believe it is going to be a Silhouette Love Inspired romance.
