"The Renegade" is an interesting tale of angels-avenging angels to be exact, mystery, murder, and of course, love.

Brett Thatcher is a nurse by trade, but gave that up to become Mrs. Paul Thatcher. After discovering that her husband did not want children, and as the other problems between them escalated, Brett filed for divorce.

Sam Angel has come to earth to prove Brett's innocence. She is going to be tried and found guilty for the death of Paul, her ex-husband, and will spend the rest of her life in prison unless Sam can help her prove she didn't do it.

Sam is a bit of a trouble maker when it comes to doing his job as an avenging angel. He tends to break the rules. He steps over the line while helping Brett and is told by his superior that once the case is completed, he will be sent to the Fifth Choir. A place no angel wants to go, where they are never to be seen again.

I will not ruin the ending of this story. It is very unique how St. George puts Brett and Sam together for a happy-ever-after. Try it, you'll like it!
