This is the first story about three women who've grown up together in the same house.
They are not sisters by blood but sisters of the heart. They've bonded together so tightly that no one or anything can break apart their relationships with each other.
This first story is about Margo. She's the daughter of the housekeeper for the Templeton's, who own a hotel chain. The Templeton's have always treated her like she was their own daughter. She's become a bit spoiled by it all and has delusions of grandeur. She wants it all: fame, fortune, and happiness.
The story opens when she comes home in disgrace. She was involved with a married man who also was her manager. She had become a famous model. Little did she know that he'd been siphoning her earnings to put together drug deals for years. She'd also been taken in for questioning, but had been cleared of all charges. Still there were the rumors. She finds out the hard way that she's all but broke.
Josh Templeton, her 'brother' and nemesis all through her growing up years, is now a lawyer and has secretly gone behind her and cleaned up as much of the mess she'd made of her life as he could. He's been attracted to Margo for years and she to him, but they felt like their parents would not approve of their relationship and they weren't really sure when their feelings turned from brotherly and sisterly to something deeper so they both fought the feelings.
Needless to say, they are thrown together in a big way when Margo decides to come home. The sparks fly at first.
What can I say? Nora Roberts has done it again. This book has all the makings for a great story and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This is the second book in the Dream series. This book is about Kate Powell. She is a distant relative of the Templetons. Her parents died in a car accident when she was eight years old and she came to live with the them then.
Kate decided she had to live up to expectations that she imposed on herself. She just found out that before her father died, he'd been accused of embezzlement and was going to jail. Then suddenly the accounting firm that she worked for accused her of the same thing. She's shattered and of course, runs home to pick up the pieces of her life.
Then Byron De Witt enters her life. She feels like she doesn't need another complication at this time but he doesn't seem to want to go away. Slowly he earns her trust and begins to try to help her get on with her life. She finds out she has an ulcer and he starts her on an exercise and dietary program that are designed to help her become healthier.
Also, she decides to help Margo and Laura, her two sisters of the heart, with the shop that Margo opened up to help her get through her crisis. She feels she's not good with people but as she works in the shop she finds she's enjoying it more and more.
Then she's cleared of all embezzlement charges and is offered a full partnership in the firm where she once worked. She has to decide what's more important to her. She also has to decide if she should let Byron into her life or push him away.
To find out what she decides, read this wonderful book. I'm looking forward to the third and final book of the series.

FINDING THE DREAM is the third and last book in the Dream series. This book is about Laura Templeton. Laura thought she had the perfect marriage. Then it all crumbled and she realized that she had been living a lie for years.
This book is about picking up the pieces and starting all over, practically from scratch. Her slime-ball husband has absconded with all of their funds and rather than hurt her children with all the details, Laura has decided to drop it and start earning her way. She holds down two jobs, one at Pretenses, the shop she's opened with her sisters of the heart and the other at the Templeton hotel. She refuses to let anyone give her anything.
This is also about finding a new love. Michael Fury was Laura's brother, Josh's friend for years. He has done and seen a lot in his life and now he's back. Laura was attracted to him when she was younger but that was as far as it went. Then circumstances threw them together again.
To find out how this wonderful series ends, read this book. Nora Roberts has, again, succeeded in capturing and holding your attention from page one.
