A Nora Roberts best is found in the last book of The MacKade Brothers series. I've read several Nora Roberts books and the story of Shane Mackade was a wonderful example of her talents. I couldn't put down this romantic story of two people destined to be together.

Dr. Rebecca Knight is highly intelligent. She holds many degrees under her hat. For much of her life she has been considered to be a first class nerd. A recent look at herself and Rebecca decided changes were in order. Finding an interest in the paranormal and the haunting of homes in Antietam, Rebecca looks up her old roommate Regan MacKade, a resident of Antietam.

Sure, Shane MacKade will gladly do his sister-in-law, Regan, a favor and pick up Dr. Knight from the airport. He loves all women and it isn't a bother at all. What surprises him beyond understanding is that Regan's description of her friend is not really accurate. Regan was not award of Rebecca change in appearance.

Shane is immediately attracted to Rebecca and she isn't sure what to make of the sexy man who she calls "farm boy." She's just recently let her hair down so to speak, and hasn't had much experience in knowing how to keep a sexy man at bay.

The sexual tension and feelings of desire between characters was intense and very powerful. An enjoyable story and one you shouldn't miss.

I've done some skipping around here by reading "The MacKade Brothers" out of order, but with Nora Roberts, that doesn't seem to make a difference. The story of Jared MacKade is heartwarming and filled with passion. Definitely a winner!

Jared MacKade, lawyer and planner, has set his eyes on Savannah Morningstar and her son Bryan. He feels strongly for her and can't quite figure out what to do with those feelings. Having been through a divorce, he doesn't want to make any more mistakes.

Savannah has led a hard life. Her mother left when she was young leaving her with a cowboy father who frequented the rodeo's. He in turn kicked her out of the house when she becomes pregnant at sixteen. Fighting to survive and care for her baby boy, Savannah has a very large chip on her shoulder.

It seems that just the thing to knock off that chip is Jared. Don't' miss this wonderful and sensual story! Whoa! It's hot.
