Sigh, sigh, sigh - this was a terrific love story. So romantic - I am sure you will also love it.

Leslie Turner is a 36 year old divorced woman. Her husband left her when she was pregnant and now she has a 17 year old daughter. She works in her own PR-Agency together with her friend Gillian. Leslie isn't interested in men anymore. That changes when she has to accompany one of Gillian's customers. Connor McLaren is a Scottish musician. Leslie is surprised already by their first meeting at the airport. With his blue eyes and his kilt he lets every woman's heart beat faster.

Also Connor has to fight with his past because his wife and son had died 8 years ago in a car accident. For him, Leslie is something real special and he starts to court her. They have only one week together. Conner will give concerts in different cities through the country. Will this one week be enough to let Leslie forget her bad experiences with her ex-husband who was also a musician? And then there is the distance between Atlanta and Scotland. And Leslie's daughter Robin who will not share her mom with a new man.

Two really great heros in a wonderful love story.

Life on her parents plantation is so boring, thinks Samara. She dreams about adventures. So, one day she hides herself on her brothers ship which is on the way to France. After her brother finds her, the ship is attacked by English pirates. During the fight, Samara's brother Brendan is wounded and must give up his ship. The good looking pirate, Raymond Hampton, comes on board.

When Raymond finds Samara the sparks fly. Because she is also named O'Neill he thinks the captain and she are married. Samara doesn't clear up this misunderstanding. After a while Raymond and Samara fall in love. However, Raymond thinks Samara and Brendan are married so he doesn't say anything.

With a trick Brendan gets his ship back. Samara and Brendan sail home to South Carolina and Raymond goes back to England.

One year later they meet again. Neither of them can forget the other. Raymond finds out that Samara isn't married and Samara thinks Raymond is an English spy. Together with her brothers Samara arrests him and they take him to her parents plantation. During Raymonds captivity they begin to fall in love again. However, misunderstandings and their pride separate them once more.

Another year later Raymond comes back to South Carolina to talk with Samara. At the end they do finally get together.

The beginning of the book was funny and really good. In the middle, the suspense was lost and it was unintelligible to me why the characters were so often separated.
