Due to a lack of time recently I have opted to use the excerpt from the back cover.

"The world is out to get single people. Jenny Forrest is convinced of it.

"Solution: a nonsignificant other of the opposite sex -- relatively attractive, socially presentable, uninterested in a serious relationship -- as a ready-made date to act as teh first line of defense against prying relatives, annoying exes and well-meaning matchmakers.

"Enter Ken Parks: Handsome, charming, and a love'em and leave'em kind of guy -- perfect emergency stand-by date material! Or so Jenny thinks, until she realizes that their kisses are anything but casual, and that the "friendly" gleam in his eyes promises forever."

This was an enjoyable story. I loved the antics of Jenny and Ken as they attempt to keep their relationship platonic. One kiss and they are stuck on each other but it still takes some time for them to figure it all out. I'll watch for Samatha Carter again as she write and fun romance, definitely worth reading.
