This book is full of love sick and pain. Just right for the romantics under us.
Johnny Starhawke is a famous lawyer. He is doing brilliant work and loves to earn the fruits of his labor. Being half Indian has one disadvantage for him - he can't forgive - especially what Helen Bartholomew did to him 18 years ago.
Now, Helen is back and wants his help, but not for herself. She comes on behalf of Johnny's grandfather. In the first moment then Johnny sees her again there is only one thought in his mind - revenge.
Helen wants Johnny's forgiveness and that's why this mission is so important for her. Nothing frightens her. She pursues him to his home and then she is successful.
Johnny accepts the mission to go back to the reservation and fight for their
rights. However, Helen is also there and so both have to overcome their past to
have a common future.

The mysterious man takes her to an abandoned shack in the desert.
Well, the kidnapper, Gus calls him Jack, has his own plans and one is that he has to find out if the Featherstone family was the one who hired the murderer of his baby and wife.
Even if she does not want him, Gus is fascinated with Jack. He has a body consisting only of muscles. There is a strong sexual power of attraction between both. Gus can't withstand him. After her liberation by her fiancé, Jack finds out what Gus had done and now his revenge isn't to stop anymore.
A very interesting story full of action, danger, passion, and thrills. I liked the
story and I will try to get another of her books.
