Lucina Babbacome is an attractive widow. Together with her stepdaughter she travels through England to visit her inns, 54 altogether. One day she has an accident with her coach and Harry Lester, a very good looking man, helps her.

Harry is shocked, a single woman wants to visit one of Newmarkets inns during the famous horse-racing time? No, he knows something better: Harry wants to accompany Lucinda to stay with his aunt. Lucinda agrees to his suggestion because she can't wait to be with this fascinating man again.

Harry is a happy bachelor and is sure he can withstand the feelings he is having for Lucinda. Her blue eyes are so beautiful and only add to the feelings of temptation he feels stirring in him.

However, Mrs. Babbacome has her own plan to make Harry to a loving husband. And what is better then jealousy?

This was a very amusing and entertaining story. You will have a lot of fun while reading about "the unwilling conquest".
