It is more a joke that Corky and her friend Dalia buy this little box in the antique shop. At home they find in the "gipsy box" an old tarot card game. Corky isn't interested in that but Dalia wants to test if theses cards are genuine or not. When Corky wants to tidy up in the evening one card falls down. She is looking for it and crawls under the table. Then, suddenly, all is dark around her.

That she wakes up in a rebel camp in Mexico in the year 1853 can only be a bad joke she thinks. But it isn't. Because Corky said to Dalia that her dream man could be rebel Joaquin Murieta and Joaquins mistress has prayed for help, she has come to this time. That she will also get to know her real dream man here, finds Corky passed out when she meets her protector Mateo.

However, as long as Corky's mission isn't fulfilled, she can't get back to her own time. Well, this is really a pity because she doesn't know what wonders she should let happen here.
