Amanda is furious. Her former fiancé has taken her company away with a real lousy trick. "Mandy's Candies" was her life. Amanda wants to forget and that's why she drives to the casino in Tahoe. She plays roulette but she does not lose -- she wins every game. And the man behind the bar is making her nervous. What is so special about him?

Amanda takes a drink with him, but then she flees because she can't understand her feelings. Barley Fuller will not give up so fast. He is a journalist in real life and he can do really good detective work. Barley finds out where she lives and he follows her.

In the office of Amanda's lawyer they met again. Barley has a plan how Amanda can get her company back. His intention is daring but he is her last hope. They also come closer in their private life.

Barley and Amanda find out that it was love at first sight between them. Amanda believes that he will leave her when he is looking for adventures again. Can this be true? And will Amanda get her company back?
