Valerie Taylor writes with a creative hand in Harlequin American Romance "The Mommy School" just released in late March. This is an endearing tale of family life with children. I anxiously look forward to more from this exhilarating author.

Janet Resnik is Auntie Jannie to three small girls whose parents were killed in an accident. Janet's mother has been their primary caretaker, but takes a much need break for two weeks leaving Janet in charge of the three darlings. After all, two weeks isn't that long.

In the time span of one day, Janet calls the Poison Control Center three times, mops up everything from suds to flour from the kitchen floor, and even has the persnickety old housekeeper, Mrs. Murphy, quit until her mother comes back. When the call comes through delaying her mothers return by -- six weeks, Janet realizes she desperately needs help. At the recommendation of Poison Control, Janet calls The Mommy School, a company that helps out in whatever way you need it most. One quick call has a "Mrs. Doubtfire" on the way. Or so she thinks.

Gib Coulter, owner of The Mommy School and tall, dark and sexy, rings the doorbell to Janet's house. She just cannot believe that the entirely too sexy, fine specimen of man on her doorstep is . . . the nanny.

It takes a little convincing, but Janet realizes Gib knows his stuff and he can give the help that she needs to get through the following weeks.

Janet goes through many feelings about Gib and his abilities. He is more than capable when it comes to children and being mommy and it is quite obvious the kids adore him.

The main characters have many feelings about each other bouncing through their heads and several extremely vivid dreams are shared with the reader. Totally sexy is what comes to mind.

Gib and Janet are a match made in heaven. Gib doesn't realize what he really wants out of life and maybe being on his own for the first time is not really the answer. Is a ready-made-family supposed to be part of the big picture?

Janet falls in love with her three nieces and wants to be more than temporary mom. Falling in love with Gib is something she could not stop, but with his mind running in a different direction that her's, can they find some way to be happy?

A delightful story you shouldn't miss.
