Even NEWer! Annabelle and Kyra have their own web page!

My cats are really bad. Here are some of the crazy things they do:

Annabelle is for some reason obsessed with the seven-CD changer that I have in the bedroom. It is on top of a small bookcase and the CD tray pops out just above her eye-level. If she doesn't bat at it after pouncing on it as it slides out, she certainly will attempt to put her paw between the tray & the rest of the machine to keep it from sliding back inside. She has succeeded a couple times. Then Chris or I smack her on the head to get her out of the way.

Annabelle often, when walking by the CD player, has her tail up in the air and it swishes by the CDs on top of the bookshelf and several of them will fall on the floor.

They eat USED Q-Tips (eww)

They knock over the garbage; in fact Annabelle once knocked over the wastebasket in our bedroom, then grabbed the plastic bag between her teeth, and dashed into the living room with it (presumably to check out the contents when she was alone...) I guess unfortunately for her curiosity, I followed her into the living room and confiscated the stolen bag...

Kyra used my face for a launching pad/scratching post and left a huge scratch from the bottom of my nose to the top of my forehead

These cats are HUNGRY. They get excited about being fed whenever it's close (close defined as anywhere between one and three hours previous...) to the time time they are normally fed. During this time they spend a lot of time running around the house, chasing each other, and being a general loud nuisance.

Related: Annabelle used to knock over Chris's glasses off the bedside table when she wanted him to wake up to feed her. When he put them into a case to keep her from knocking them over, she started swiping at & knocking over the case. A few nights ago, Annabelle stood on my chest & began meowing LOUDLY in Chris's general direction. This prompted me to wake up and throw her out of the bedroom & close the door behind her...

They eat each others' food which is bad since Kyra eats kitten food & Annabelle eats diet food

Because of this Annabelle keeps getting fatter!

Kyra is afraid of EVERYTHING, even her own shadow & bolts often & quickly

They both like hanging out in the shower after I have gotten out (but are terrified to be in the same room while it's running...)

We have a small stuffed animal kitten that is about 2/3 the size of Kyra. Recently I observed Kyra running up to this toy, taking the middle (stomach area) in her teeth, and throwing it in a way not at all unlike "professional wrestling". I wished I had a video camera at this time because I was sure I'd win $10,000 on that TV funniest videos show...

As I was getting dressed, I had my armoire open and Kyra jumped inside, settling down on top of my nightgown on the bottom shelf. I closed the doors and waited to hear her start meowing to get out... she never did! She lay down and got comfy! I came back five minutes later and opened the doors to let her out, but she seemed content to stay inside... eventually I pushed her out since I knew I had to leave for work soon...

Kyra thinks it's a great idea to climb inside the bookshelf by my bedside and knock over anything that gets in her way across.
