I awoke to the terror
of airplanes falling from the sky,
Heaven’s gates are fully opened
Why did so many have to die?

Many brave Angels
Found their way home today
Innocent lives sacrificed,
Someone’s careless debt paid.

There was no lesson in the suffering,
Too many lives were lost
In the name of who you stand for
How much worth...what did it cost?

The world is turning upside down.
God now, surely weeps
To look upon the death of His children
For those now, forever asleep.

Take a moment to remember,
Those souls forever lost
And remember that with every action
There always is a cost.
