Hello Out There,

Another year is drawing to a close. To celebrate the holiday season, I’ve added a Christmas page. There you will find no animated gifs or midi Christmas music…only needle books. I would imagine that these are all advertising premiums. This got me thinking…they just don’t hand out many premiums these days. My hairdresser gives me a pocket calendar. I think my insurance agent has key chains, but since I rarely go into the office, I never get one. Nobody gives out great gifts like needle books anymore.

There has been a dry spell on eBay lately. A few outstanding books have cropped up, but overall, selection is down. I have endured famines like this before, and I hope that the shortage won’t last much longer. I’ve decided that it’s time to sit back and appreciate what I’ve got. My collection has grown by leaps and bounds during the last few years. I have many more needle books than I ever imagined existed during my pre-Ebay-collecting years. I still enjoy looking at them. I marvel at the beautiful covers and fancy packets. I’m grateful not only for the books I have, but for the people I’ve met while accumulating and learning about them.

I’m keeping this short. It’s a hectic time for me, as I’m sure it is for you. I have added a few pictures and additional information to my “Reproductions”page.
