Rosie's Ramblings

November 1, 1999

Hello Out There,

First of all I would like to thank all the TCI members who have recently visited. My days were brightened by several interesting e-mails. I love to talk about needles so all questions and comments were appreciated. I also would like to thank my former co-workers from Jonesboro School who were so generous with their compliments about my site.

In keeping with my vow to not "hoard" needle books, I would like to make an offer. There are literally hundreds of needle books out there that I want. I have a stack of my duplicates stored in the drawer of my old Singer . Most are not "mint". In general, they are samples from my collection that I have discarded because I have found another in better condition. If anyone is interested in trading for one of these, please contact me. You may have something that I want and I would certainly love to help out another collector! Do not hesitate to ask if you would like to see a picture. I can send one via e-mail, along with an e-Bayish description.

Please visit my "Evolution of Needle Books", "Army & Navy", "A - L", and my "M - Z" pages to see the latest additions to the Museum. They are all marked "new". By special request, I have added links to former "Rosie's Ramblings" pages. It has been a good month for needle book collecting. I have acquired several really special books. The Army & Navy "Anchor" book is one I have been wanting for some time. I recently acquired it through a trade with a fellow collector. I am also extra proud of my new "Ladies" book. Be sure to come back again next month. At that time I will be ready to share a few of my "most wanted" that I recently added to my collection.

Until next time,

Rosie
