Working Things Out
Between Us
We're going to be okay, you and I.
Everybody goes through some rough times
once in a while. And, though it's hard
to keep in perspective right now...
it's those times that make people grow
and become stronger.
Lessons get learned.
The one that is most important
is all based on communication.
On being able to open up and talk to
each other.
About anything and everything. Turning to
one another when a problem arises; not
turning away.
Another lesson is that changes aren't
necessarily bad; sometimes they can be
for the best. What's important is learning
how to deal with the inevitable changes that
come to all people in the days of their lives.
With patience and trust, and the love that has
been intertwined with our lives for so long,
we can be strong. We can talk,
and in the course of our discussion,
probably learn things about
one another we never knew before.
We can turn to one another and not turn away.
We can work things out.
And we're going to be okay.
