My Grandma G's
Carrot Cake


2 cups grated raw carrots
1 1/2 cups oil
4 large eggs
2 teas. vanilla
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup raisens
2 teas. cinnamon
Pinch salt
2 teas Baking Powder
2 teas Baking Soda
3 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts
In mixer, mix oil, eggs, and beat. Then add vanilla and carrots. Add sugar gradually. Mix well. Sift dry ingredients and add gradually, and mix by hand. Pour into 10" greased tube pan.
375 degrees for one hour or until done.
*This cake is soooo moist! you don't need any frosting!*
