The Lovely (?) and Talented (!) Blanch Pinke

A KISS FROM A ROSE!,Marlon Austin a.k.a. Blanche Pink cofounded the RSIC of All Kentucky in 1981 after visiting Alaska and becoming involved with their Court. Upon his return to the Bluegrass, Marlon and Greg Butler decided to form an Imperial Court in Kentucky. The first Coronation, organized by Greg and Marlon, was a "sell out" success that laid the foundation for the future successes of the organization.

After a period of time away from the organization, Marlon has
reactivated onto the Board of Directors as Chairperson of the By-Law Revision Committee, and has overseen several important amendments to the by-laws of the organization over the past year.

Jeanette Wilde, Mother of the Court, and Regent Empress 5, at Coronation 1. She is now retired from he stage but not from our hearts. "Juice" to those that know and love her, Ms. Wild gained fame performing throughout the midwest. Living, in Louisville, she gladly moved to Lexington to help with the founding of the Bluegrass Court.

Co-Founder of the court, Greg Butler stands behind the Empress in the White Tuxedo, Simone, stands to his left. The Diva in the black gown, is Andrea Lauren. Coronation 1 was held at the Circus Disco. Greg Butler is currently Secretary of the Board of Directors; Andrea Lauren has retired from the stage and currently lives in Lousiville, Kentucky; Empress 1 Julie Vaughn and Simone have regrettably passed away. Both are missed greatly by the court and their friends. If you can identify the girl in the lavender gown, please email me.

Mark Sallee (soon to be Closet Ball Queen 1, Andromeda Strange) and Empress 3 & 4 Renee Alexander at Coronation 1. Renee currently is President of the Board of Directors; Andromeda Strange has lived in San Francisco for the past 10 years and is currently a member of their court.
