Is it true that having anal sex and oral sex can make your ass or throat muscles "loose"?
The anal sphincter and throat are both groups of muscles. Like any muscle, they are capable of being stretched. With more exercise of these muscles, the extent of stretching possible may increase. However, this does not mean that the muscles will become "loose". Instead, the effect will be more like that seen in dancers, who have flexible but strong leg muscles.
Is rimming (mouth to anus contact) dangerous?
The main danger from rimming is the transmission of Hepatitis. If you have been vaccinated and kept your vaccine status up to date this should not be a problem. HIV has never been recorded as having been transmitted from rimming. You could get other infections from rimming, and if your partner had anal herpes for example this could be transmitted to you giving you oral herpes via this activity.
If you are planning on being rimmed, wash thoroughly with soap and water. It is not necessary to use douches (filling the anus with water then releasing it) or enemas.
There is little or no risk of injury from rimming.
Is cunnilingus (mouth to vagina contact) dangerous?
As in any activity which involves contact with other body fluids, you can catch various STDs through cunnilingus. HIV cannot be transmitted by cunnilingus unless the one being eaten out (receiving) is in her period, or there is some injury or wound on the surface.
There is little or no risk of injury from rimming.
Is there any risk of injury from anal sex?
If you use plenty of lubricant and start off gently allowing the anal sphincter muscles to relax, anal sex should be quite safe. If you are feeling uncomfortable or are in pain, then stop.
If you are too rough, there is a risk that tearing may occur around the sphincter, or that some bleeding will occur. If this does happen consult your doctor as soon as possible. It is best if you use a water-based lube which has some moisturising properties, as this makes the skin around the anus more supple and less likely to tear/bleed.
Is there any risk of injury from oral sex?
As long as no biting is involved there is little risk of injury. As with anal sex, if you are feeling discomfort or pain, stop or go slower.
