Warm Thoughts

Hello, and welcome!

I had to make room in the geobook file for more entries.

But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate every one of these.

Please make sure you finish "Lady of the Rings". I've finished my own tg novel, and I'm tempted to chuck it after reading your joint effort. You set a high standard. And thank you!

Brandy, It's no secret I love your writing. Please keep up the good no make that excellent work. I look forward to lots more in the months ahead. I wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful hours of enjoyment I have had reading your collected works and dreaming wonderful dreams because of them. Please keep it up. Your fan, Wendy. P.S. Thanks for the help on MD your inclusion in the story is coming up! Look for it soon! I wanted to share this with you. It came as a piece of mail from one of my co-conspirators at FM. *********FROM THE STRANGE BUT TRUE DEPT. ********* Now a true story! I had the trouble on my ISP, when I spilled a diet pop on the keyboard. So I squeeked out the messages I sent, it kept adding characters to the page. When I signed off, I was going to do something that was more passive. So I decided to finally read "Midnight Downloads"! I called up the document and began to read it. When I got to the part where the main character becomes a woman, my machine started going crazy!! It began activating every program on the desktop! After attempting to close all the programs, the machine finally froze! I turned it off, to reboot but I kept getting keyboard error! You really are a powerful writer sis! **************************************************************** You just have to love coincidence! Thanks for the time help and wonderful stories. Wendy. What is an illusion? Or better yet: What is YOUR illusion?

Your "ranger" character from the on-line role playing game seems awfully close to the type of characters in the game that my wife plays. GemStone is the game. Email me back if you are curious as to her on-line character name.....

Hi Brandy,
I like your sig-image. :0) I'm working on one for myself.
I sort of imagine an androgenous stick character with HUGE
glasses. What to you think? Anyway, I'm trying to drum up some
interest in my own home page...I don't get quite the trafficyou get...and, uhem..I've written a couple of stories. Nothing much,
but I crave criticism (good or bad).

OK Brandy, I just finished reading what there is of "Lady of the Rings." I almost didn't read it because it was unfinished and I'm the impatient type who can't stand being left in the dark. So I hope that you and/or Helen will at least rough out a few more chapter (like finish it maybe?) soon. Please don't do as Helen did with Tuck and abandon the story. Hugs Patricia

Like others, I found you through Ellen's site. (I am a devoted fan of the Tuck Saga) And I'm sure glad I did! You are a wonderful, imaginitive story teller. But I have to admit, "The Lady Of The Rings" is my favorite. I'm guessing that the plot is mos ly your's and the dialog mostly Ellen's. And Ellen's dialog really does sparkle**** Doesn't it? (I can hardly wait for the next chapter!) But I'm still reading, (and enjoying) "Milady's Wiles". (My second favorite) The plot is very imaginitive. And I r ally like the subtle hints of what's really happening instead of just blurting it right out. Keep up the GOOD work.

Brandy,
You know, you and Ellen must be putting a LOT of time in on LOTR to turn
out such quality work so fast.  I found very few mistakes (yes, I was an English
major), and believe me, spell checkers don't always work. ;0) I frequently get
nailed by the use of their or there, when I really mean they're.  I can see why
you never answered my email right away. I can't wait to read the next chapter.

I'm reading Lady of the rings with great interest but the links for chapter 21 and for reading your guestbook are currently broken. I'd love to continue with the story(not to mention being able to tell if this posted alright!). If someone else has already mentioned the problem and you're workin on it please forg ve my being unnecessarily repetitive. Kepp up the good work. Thanks for your time. Renee

I thoroughly enjoyed MiLady's Wiles. I found it to be a beautifully writen piece. Very romantic, generally quite believeable, definitely not predictable. A real "Page Turner" "Two Thumbs UP" If our gracious author wishes to read a bit of history I encourage her to continue on. I must say I loved her work and in no way wish to demean it, or to cut it apart, or down. One comment for future "Periodic" tales, given and acknowledging the fact immediately set forth below: In fantasy, the "whim of the author" is paraqmount and rules all. Therefore, any titles she wishes to bestow upon her characters are right and proper. A Regent, though a ruler put in place by or for a Monarch, is not the title given to a royal governor of a conquered Nation or Kingdom. If one is to use royal titles set forth as commonly used in England that is. The "proper" title, again granting the author of "Fantasy" her right to bestow any title upon her characters, especially when the royal governor is a member of the royal family, of the conquering nation, is Viceroy meaning vice royal, or assistant to the ing. ie: Lord Louis Mountbatten circa 1946-1948 The last Viceroy of India. A Regent is put in place to govern the home kingdom in the absence of her King as in the crusades. ie: James who governed England in his brother Richard's name, while Richard was out of the country, during the crusades. -OR- In the event her King or Queen becomes incapacitated. Witness the Parliamentary proceedings initiated to name the Prince of Wales Regent of England, with King George III of England, as depicted in the movie, "The Madness of King George". (Which by the way is currently running on one of the DSS Versions of "Stars") Note: King George III was King of England during the revolutionary war. His son, George, Prince of Wales, eventually became King George IV upon his father's death in the early 1800's. Thank uo for a wonderful tale, full of suspense, romance and intrigue. Wendy.
