SPECIAL NOTE FOR ALL AOL SUBSCRIBERS
Are you an AOL subscriber, publishing your webpages to a site within GeoCities????  Please read the following information.

As an AOL subscriber, you may not be aware that some of your HTML coding, developed via your AOL composer/publisher program, will NOT work on all browsers other than your own.  The following are steps which we hope will help you determine if you have a problem, and the steps to correcting such problems.

1.  Be sure to view your GeoCities pages in a browser other than your MS IE AOL browser/personal publisher.  Then ask yourself these questions:  Does your page fully load?  That is, are all of your graphics visible?  Typically, your graphics will NOT show in a Netscape browser.
2.  Have someone other than an AOL subscriber view your page/s using a Netscape browser.  Can they see all of your graphics?  If not, this is definitely a clue that your graphics are not formatted correctly.  Then ask this person, or someone else who's not an AOL subscriber, to view these same pages with MS Internet Explore?  If the graphics are now seen, your solution is close at hand to help that Netscape viewer.
2.  Because your graphics don't show in a Netscape browser, as stated above, you will have to reformat your graphics from .art format for AOL to .gif format for viewing in a Netscape browser.
3.  All graphics intended for use on your GeoCiteis page/s should be saved with your AOL Image Compression turned off.
4.  To learn more about the steps you need to take to accomplish this, please go to either of the following links specifically intended for you, AOL users/publishers:

Turning off Compression in AOL 3
Turning off Compression in AOL 4

In closing, we hope this helps you go from having your graphics look like this  to this for Netscape users.    Afterall, didn't you develop your page/s to be viewed by all of your visitors?  Then don't exclude almost 40% of your visitors with Netscape browsers from seeing your "Masterpiece!"
