Back northwards from above Lake Angelus with a couple of trampers climbing the final slopes. Point 1788 is the rocky outcrop on the top left with the track dropping down across the slopes a little further to the right. However, it is possible to continue along the ridge crest to the peak on the right (a good viewpoint) and a steep descent back to the track.
