The morning mist clears from over Lake Rotoroa in the
Nelson Lakes National Park, South Island, New Zealand. This photo was taken
from the jetty near Sabine Hut in
the morning before I spent a glorious day crossing over to
Speargrass Hut. Across the
water is the entrance to D'Urville Valley. The lake stretches far to the right
for 11 kilometres to the Rotoroa road-end. |
