General Vicinity Maps
Tirad and Bessang Passes National Parks
These parks, located near Cervantes, Ilocos Sur, commemorate
historic battles. The first, Tirad Pass, covers 6,320 ha and was created
in 1938 to memorialize a battle during the Philippine-American War. Bessang
Pass was established in 1954 as a National Shrine to combatants of World
War II.
There are probably buses and jeepneys that serve the route
between San Fernando, La Union and Bontoc.
