A Friend to All -- Missy

Missy walked each step of her path with her own special 'step'.
On June 6th,1997 at 8:02 AM CDT, Missy took the final step of this physical life,
and the first step as the angel we all thought she was. We, who were fortunate enough to be blessed by her presence and friendship will miss her, but those of you that did not have the fortune to know, missed something even more.
But the love, friendship, hope, wisdom, honesty, truths, laughs, and tears she shared with all, will live on within each of us until that time we meet her again.
Somehow I picture her standing there, *hands on hips* and a *fake frown* on her face saying, "See, told ya so". And we all will get the Hug of an Angel named Missy.

Missy was the inspiration for forming the House of Love and Support. She asked me to keep the "House of Love that Missy Built" alive, and on June 11, 1997, HOLAS was born.





For Missy I lit a candle the other day
For a soul who came our way.
This light, this love I never met
A seeming stranger o'er the net
But when I saw the things she said
A peaceful thought went through my head.
I knew just then, no stranger she
A fellow traveler on the path with me.
I thought of her, a wonderous sight
Her inner self is strong and bright.
Her love for all, it showed so true
She gave to me, she gave to you.

Missy, we will always love you.
