Saturday, June 5th
This is an all day recreational event/gathering of people who enjoy carp
fishing. Here you will have a very good chance of catching a carp. Kent
lake is a large reservoir with a great carp population, most of these carp
have never been caught before. We will be chumming several weeks before
the event with field corn. Michigan fishing license is needed or a daily
license which is about $6.50, two rods may be used and chumming is allowed.
Please be careful when landing and releasing the carp, make sure they are
returned as quickly as possible and unharmed. This is the largest gathering
of carp anglers in Michigan!
