I am a Boy Scout Indian Lore merit badge counselor.

If you are Native American and I misrepresent any aspect of your culture please let me know so that I may correct it. I had the wonderful experience of being a room mate with two friends, one was a Lakota and the other an Objiwe. It is my desire to respect the religion, culture and ways of the Native Americans, while helping some young men earn their merit badge. Any comments from elders, Grandmothers, Grandfathers, or others is greatly appreciated.

To Boy Scouts desiring to work on the Indian Lore merit badge. I was going to create a whole new page from scratch but then I found this great site and decided to save myself some work. If you are in the Mt. Diablo/Silverado Council, I would be happy to check most of your work via email.
