Service Is Our Business

Providing service to the community, is a cornerstone of Scouting. Troop 100 is proud of our record of service. If you haven't been there yet, please check out the Proclamation presented to our Troop by the City of Moreno Valley.

If you are a community organization in need of a service project, we invite you to send us an e-mail to request our troop's assistance.

Please be sure to include a full description of your organization, who will benefit by the service project, a description of the project needed, as well as a description of the materials you will furnish to our boys.

While all requests will receive due consideration, selection of a service project by our troop must be done in accordance with BSA requirements and guidelines, and depends upon the availablity of our boys.

Below, you will find examples of some of the recent service projects completed by our troop:

  • Construction of life-size dioramas at the March Field Museum.
  • Historic preservation project to repair a patio at a historic house maintained by the Olde Riverside Foundation.
  • Historic preservation project to refinish the exterior woodwork at a historic house maintained by the Olde Riverside Foundation.
  • Provided quality cheer and time to young patients in the Pediatric ward at Loma Linda Hospital.
  • Provided escorts to Gold Star Mothers at the Veterans Cemetary

These are only a few examples of the types of projects we will consider. However, let your imagination and common sense lead you to presenting us with a worthy request.
