A ring-necked pheasant has a green head with red around its eye. The male ring-neck has a white ring around its neck and is mostly chestnut brown with white and black specks. The females are just brown.
Pheasants walk when they need to and can run pretty fast, but they fly to go to far places or escape danger. The ring-necked pheasant can adapt to different habitats, so they can live almost anywhere.
