Comments: Ice fishing has been great on West Grand. Lots of fish being caught. We got an 8 1/2 lb togue this week along with some white fish and salmon.

Comments: There is 10 to 14" of ice around Muson Island, some slush around the rocks everywhere. Don't know about the wider parts of the lake yet. Will keep you posted.

Comments: Since1967, Grand Lake Stream has been a part of my summer rituals.And, like his father Hazen, George Bagley has tought me much about how to land fish in the Downeast Lakes region.I"ve been fortunate having Munson Island as my home base. The waters of West Grand have not changed over the years, much like the town and surrounding area. All these factors will keep me coming back for as long as I'm welcome. Though Hazen, Creston MacArthur, George MacArthur, Bill Fitch, Donald Chambers, Earl Bonness, Bobby Gard er,and Don Howe have moved on, and Annie Fitch has retired, George & Michelle Bagley still make GLS very special.

Comments: When I come up to Grand Lake Stream, I stay at Dave Richard's camp. I spend as much of October as I can up there to go bird hunting.
