Main access to the park. South from Miami take US 1 to Florida City or the Florida Turnpike south to the last exit. Turn west on Florida Hwy. 9336 and follow the signs to the Everglades National Park. Entrance is located about 50 miles from Miami. The Main Visitor Center opens daily from 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This entrance to the park is open 24 hours.
West from Miami, take US 41 (Tamiami Trail) to Shark Valley entrance. Exit the Florida Turnpike at 8th Street exit toward the West. This entrance is about 25 miles west of the Turnpike exit or 18 miles west of the traffic light at 8th Street and Krome Avenue. The Shark Valley Visitor Center is staffed by park personnel daily between 8:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. The park entrance is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
West from Miami, at the corner of Tamiami Trail and Route 29, turn south toward Everglades City. The park is about 3 miles south of the Tamiami Trail. The entrance is south of Everglades City. The desk at the Visitor Center is staffed from 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.
At Krome Avenue and 186 Avenue (Richmond Drive) turn toward the west toward the fourth entrance to the park. Opens daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Golden Eagle, Age, and Access Passes are honored at all entrance stations.
