Wow! I still can't believe that I'm writing August in this book. Seems like we should still be in July.

Today was a great day. We had a small problem with one of the kids but I hopefully worked it out. I hope he comes back tomorrow. But today I also got a chore that I was not looking forward to out of the way. I started cutting the tubes up for the rockets and it went OK but very slow marking the tubes then cutting them. So when Phil's group finished early I asked for a few volunteers and we cut up all the tubes in about 40 minutes. We now have tubes for all the kids and their grandkids.

After work we did some groceries then basically hung out in my room eating ice cream.

I went to the library to try to start putting my journal on the web and answer some e-mail. I was just getting started when I had to get off the computer. But I did get all my e-mails done anyway. Maybe tomorrow I'll get a better start.

Just as I was turning in for the night Jenn called me. She was just going to bed herself and decided to call because she was a bit nervous about starting her new job tomorrow. We talked for a while then I crawled into bed. I'm kind of tired tonight and have a bit of a headache so sleep won't come fast enough tonight.
