Today was a really great day despite the rain all morning and some of the afternoon. Every workshop went according to plan. In fact some leaders are saying they don't' have much to do because the group is so well behaved and enthusiastic they hardly have to do crowd control. That's good for everyone because the kids are having fun, the leaders aren't as tired because they don't have to constantly yell or chase after everyone, and I can get some packing/organizing done. I had to do a shopping run today and didn't feel guilty about leaving. It was great. We had a photographer show up today and he took some shots and some info then left. Must remember to get the paper tomorrow.
Only had to be the heavy once today but not that bad. I think the problem is fixed. I also had to be a buddy today to a kid who said there was no cool stuff to do at camp. I think I fixed that too. Other than that didn't really have to put out any fires.
When we got home I went to the pool and Nina and Phil played squash. Swam about 1.3 Km today. I didn't push myself since it's been over a year since I last swam like that. But I did sprint the last 50 m. My form needs a bit of work but other than that everything seemed cool.
Came home and went to drop off my film at Wal-Mart. Looked around at a few other places too (Future Shop/Payless) but didn't' buy anything (surprisingly). Only have about $100 left and I owe Phil $25 for food.
Nina and I might go play badminton tomorrow. Haven't played that in ages either. Hope I don't pull anything.
I tried to label some Swap stuff but since I have no clue about what types of rocks we have (with some exceptions) I really couldn't do much. Laura is the expert in that area (well the expert in this group anyway). I'll have to sit with her and soak up some knowledge.
Anyway that's pretty much my day so I'm going to bed.
