NEW DEALER OF THE 1930'S
Marion was born in Kety, Poland in 1900. He was born to
Cleman Zioncheck, his father, and Frances Zioncheck. He
rose to become what the media termed was the loudest
radical of his time was destined to become a political
force in Seattle's policitcal arena of the 1930s.
Throughout his rise beginning in his early years while
attending the University of Washington while also
working as a student. Marion became affected by the
causes of the lower class economic struggle with
disparity of the time.
This foundation was the young immigrant's stepping stone,
which drove Marion to idealize what he would learn to
achieve through his ideology of what was deserved to him
and to all people in America. While attending school as
a law student, Zioncheck would begin to exhibit his
platform: an open and fair voice, which allowed his
radical political platform to materialize. This
separated Zioncheck apart from his peers and would gain
him notoriety.
