Ursid's Strength Bid, phase 1

Ursid was raised by a race of beings renowed for their great strength and resistence to damage. They were a shamanistic race attuned to the natural flow of their universe. The elders would call forth an animal spirit guide to be bound to their children during adolesence. This being would influence and shape the type of person that the child would mature into. When Ursid was partaking in the ceremony, a strange event happened, marking him above all others.

Three creatures came forth from the woods. First a great boar with a thick nearly impervious hide and untiring stamina sat below Ursid's totem.

Followed by, a giant stag, blessed with power, grace and nimble speed proudly straddling the boar beneath the totem.

Lastly came a huge Kodiak bear, rearing behind them all to demonstrate it's stregth and ferocity.

All three stared into the eyes of the child Ursid, and then slowly they began to meld into one another until only the glowing totem remained. The elders called forth the binding enchantment and through ancient incantations the essence of the creatures was bound into the child Ursid.
