Betty Justilian Schaub aka LadyStang ^A^ I was born in Morgan City, Louisiana. I have lived in Texas for the past 6 1/2 years.  I love anything Cajun, family, angels, birdhouses, writing & reading poetry, reading Danielle Steele novels, chatting with friends, ICQ and designing web pages. I'll chat with just about anyone who contacts me. I like  margaritas with my Mexican food and sweet red wine with my Italian food.                Have you ever gone skinny dipping? NO NO NO!                Shampoo or conditioner: Yes , NO NO NO! I have oily hair and scalp. I usually use Herbal Essence. Still trying to get what that lady on the commercial feels when she uses it. ;-)                Do you make fun of people? Depends on the people. I do make fun of myself. Does that count?                Favorite color: Blues                Have you ever been convicted of a crime? Not Yet!                Best online friends: Anyone Southern. And my poetry bud "Katia".                One pillow or two: 5 : 4 under my head and neck and 1 between my knees for back support.                Pets: Yes. Droopy the macho doxie. Phoebe the prissy Dalmatian. Myrtle the box turtle. And some tropical fish.                Favorite type of music: All kinds.                Hobbies: Crafting, chatting on line, photography, reading and cooking                Favorite sport: Sounds too much like exercise. But if I'm in a watching mood it'd be basketball or the olympics.                Dream car: Little red Mustang. I had one once. Kicking myself for ever having sold it.                Favorite word or words: cattywonkers, bejeebers                Favorite saying: Kewlness                Favorite food: Brisket on the grill.                Crush: ???????                Piercing or tattoos: 2 holes in each ear now. I want to pierce my right brow.                How would you characterize yourself: I'm a b _ _ _ _ sometimes. But I'd say I am quite loving, forgiving, playful, a good listener, talkative, funny and a good friend.                Do you get along with your parents? I got bored. Friendship, Love, Honesty , common interests and he has to make me laugh. But I'm not looking, I found him.                Favorite movie: How Stella Got Her Groove Back, until I see something better.                Favorite childhood toy: my bike and a view master.                Favorite flowers: Carnations cause they are cheap and colorful and roses of course cause they aren't cheap!                Ever been published? Not yet! Someday I hope to.                Previous Employment: I started in day care at the age of 16. Finally at 34 I quit. My last employment was as both a volunteer and a paid worrker. I volunteered as a part time receptionist for the church we attended in Houston for 2 1/2 years. At the same time I worked as a part time receptionist for the ECP (Early Childhood Program) at the same church for 2 1/2 years. I loved my job and hated to leave it, but my hubby had to find work and that brought us here, to College Station, Texas. We've been here for 1 year and 3 months. Nice town! We miss our friends and family in the Houston area though.                Lagniappe: ( a little something extra). I don't write poetry for fame and glory. I write simply because I enjoy it and it's a release for me. If by chance someone else reads it and enjoys it then that's MY Lagniappe!
