The Dream Dove rules
the skies of the night
With soft blue feathers
kissed by the moon's pure light.
She searches the dreams
of souls filled with fright
She touches them softly
and makes them all right
Born of the moonbeam
and milky way
The stars light her path
in iridescent display
With long silken feathers
that dance as she plays
Without fear of darkness
before the sun shows it's rays
Delicate dream dove
come to me as I rest
Carry my nightmares away
else they have me obsessed
I've no room for these wicked
nightmares I must attest
Let my nights finally find
their long saught after restFor Cynthia Proctor... most definately "A Dove"
