CRYSTAL VISION

So waves of anger, of self-doubt,
threaten to pull you down with your ship?
Should you give up hope now;
abandon ship;
give in to the mocking laughter
of those who called you fool
and return to being a refugee,
a slave on someone else's ship?

Stop struggling, relax;
allow your thoughts to bend.
Close your eyes, float free;
envision yourself
in a living crystal.
Open your eyes now,
look at those angry seas:
their waves cannot penetrate the womb of love!
See the divine rays of light
break open the spectrum of the rainbow!
Laugh as a child at the unexpected;
taste the colors of love set free!
Feel the wild, warm, westerly winds
filling your sagging sails,
stabilizing your unsinkable little ship.

Surprised, you'll pass through troubled waters,
shaken but undamaged
and safely you will be brought
to your ultimate destination!
