Background: Arriving at Sunnydale to grant the wishes of Cordelia Chase, Anya lost her powers and was consenquently trapped in human form when her magic necklace was destroyed. Originally a human, D'Hoffryn made her a demon over a thousand years ago, and most of the Scooby Gang is not very thrilled that she is still around. Human again, Anya is trying to fit into a world that she had no plan for joining. Rather blunt at times, Anya has rediscovered boys and is currently dating and sleeping with (often) Xander. She has begun to feel jealousy and worry over their commitment at this point as well, which does make her long for the good-ole vengeance demon days when things were less confusing.

Motivation: Anya has never actually met Drusilla yet. She has only heard an account of Dru during her bonding time at the Bronze with Dru's ex, Spike. Still a vengeance demon at heart, Anya did see the wisdom of killing Dru, but that was about it. Still, it's the quiet ones you need to watch for.
