Special Abilities: Slayers come equipped with super speed and strength, with a dash of prophetic dreams on the side. Her fighting skills include gymnastics and tai chi with a great deal of hand to hand combat and trained in the use of the stake, crossbow, axe, and sword. While not super book smart, she is extremely bright and can think on her feet. Also has the ability to insult the legions of darkness without breaking a fingernail.
Greatest Fear: Becoming a vampire
Background: Buffy's life turned upside down her sophomore year. First off, her parents were getting a divorace, which is hard for any child. The clincher was that she was chosen to be the Slayer of vampires. It got her first Watcher killed, and herself expelled from school when she and her boyfriend Pike burned down the Hemery High Gym to kill vampires.
She and her mother moved to peaceful Sunnydale and found herself a new group of friends, a Watcher, and a Hellmouth. Evil regularly attacked Sunnydale in many forms, and Buffy even died for a whole minute once. Not all evil came in the same ways, her love Angel went all evil after sleeping with her, which forced her to send him to Hell, even when he got his soul back. Angel was back the next year, but they could never have the same relationship.
Because of her death, two other Slayers have since appeared in her place, Kendra and Faith. Kendra was killed by Drusilla, and Faith is serving hard time. That makes Buffy the only active Slayer, even though she is no longer (and never really did) taking orders from the Watcher's Council since they tried to hurt her mother. At the present she fights evil from UC Sunnydale and dates a former commando, Riley Finn, though she did narrowly miss matrimony with Spike.
Motivation: Buffy's biggest reason to hate Dru would be because Dru killed Kendra. She was willing to stake Dru before Spike cut a deal for Dru's unlife. Following in a close second, Buffy hates Dru because she was one of the main contributing figures in Angelus's terrorizing of Sunnydale. Dru was involved in multiple deaths, including the Magic Shoppe owner and a museum curator. One could also blame Dru for Spike in Buffy's life because if Dru hadn't left Spike, he would have never returned to Sunnydale. To make Dru even less popular, again, she is a vampire and it is Buffy's sworn duty to kill her.
