The cemetery is a frequent haunt of vampires, demons, and the Slayer, partially because Sunnydale has 11 cemeteries to go with its 44 churches. It is actually the prime slaying ground since most vampires rise from their graves. The cemetery also houses other types of inhabitants, like Oz during the full moon and Spike's new home. A word to the wise, walking around the cemetery at night without at least a stake is never good.
