Okay, about me. Let's see. I probably should do the likes and dislikes talk. I love movies, nearly any type, but particular to sci-fi and fantasy. You know, Star Wars and the Princess Bride. Music is good; I used to be really into alternative, but all the radio stations that played it in my area have recently closed down. Now I have to listen to other stuff. Right now I like Vertical Horizon, REM, Sister Hazel, and Splendar.
My pet peeves are probably too long to list, but I'll put a few down. I hate hate hate Riley Finn on the show. Wait, that's not a big pet peeve. Trying again, I hate people with no idea where they are going, especially if I'm driving behind you. I don't like to wait. Almost as annoying as Riley Finn and lost people are people who talk and talk, yet don't actually say anything. (Lots of people fall into this catagory.) It's just that I get bored easily and that's one of the quickest ways to do it.
About me being a BTVS fanatic: I actually didn't start watching seriously until this past season. I owned and liked the original movie version for all it was kinda cheesy and hokey. The only episode I clearly remember watching the first season was Invisible Girl. The second season I recall catching the end of Becoming Part 1 and getting all upset. (I was sure Kendra, Willow, Xander, and Giles were all dead.) Season three I was never home on Tuesday nights so I missed out on all of that.
However, I caught the episode The Initative this season and fell in love with Buffy and Spike. The crazy-sexy-killer-cool charm of Spike brought me back the next Tuesday. I started taping Buffy and Angel and managed to get ahold of copies of some of the older episodes. For good or for bad, I got hooked.
While on the subject of Spike and Buffy, as it says on the homepage, Something Blue convinced me of their perfectness together. While I watched that episode, my third of the year and still having no clue, I sat there going, "Who's Dru?" and "Why did the spell have to end?" Two totally unrelated concepts I know. I could go on and on about why I think Buffy and Spike should be together, but I won't. If you'd like to talk to me about why you think they should be together and what-not, look me up on aol instant messenger as editor81. I'm always ready to talk shop.
Onto talking about this site. I took a class on learning how to do all of this stuff. I learned a ton, but some of it wasn't appropriate for this site. Instead I'm using all of the stuff I learned on this page. In fact this page will change from time to time, so visit it every once in a while. The quote changes daily. As you may have noticed, this site just keeps growing and growing. In fact every time I think I'm done, I decide to add one more thing. I love feedback and if you email me to ask about anything, you will probably get an answer within a day or so.
For a last thing, the cool java script stuff on this page can be found at:
