Nowadays, drought has become one of the most difficult problems that the whole world should handle seriously. Our environmental stability is doomed to suffer the hardest of all times. In this paper we'll talk about the main causes of drought, its fatal consequences and some Suggested Solutions and advice to overcome the phenomenon.

Drought is generally natural. It is due to the lack of rain. But the worst and the most irreparable are the man-made causes. The massive overuse and waste of water constitutes another major factor that leads to the shortage of water. Consequently, drought makes life hard and a real ordeal for a lot of humans and animals. In addition to this, drought gives birth to many socio-economic problems such as food crisis, starvation, epidemics, rural exodus and extreme poverty.

As a remedy, everybody should do their best to preserve water through sensitizing people of the importance of water for life so that everyone has his share. The government also has to build dams to store and hold back and avoid wasting and polluting it.

Thus, the only one and most practical solution to face the dangers of drought is by rationalizing water use.

People must keep in mind that we cannot live without water and worse we cannot make it in laboratories although we can control Hydrogen and Oxygen separately. Isn't water formula H2O? So our weakness in front of this vital element is twofold: We cannot live without it and we cannot fabricate it. So beware!!
