IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THIS WEBSITE!!!!
4/24/09 - As geocities has decided to close down it's free websites, I will be moving my writing over the next few weeks. Currently I am considering a new home for my work.
Please come back over the next few weeks and I'll have the new link posted when the site is finished.
In the meantime, if you'd like to drop me a note with your email, I would be glad to notify you of my new url when it happens. Write to: absintheangel777@live.com. Please don't spam.
During the transition, you will still be able to read your favorite stories here, as always. I will make an announcement when the entire move is complete.
Thank you for your continued interest and support. I hope this will be a seamless transition.
And yes.......there really ARE new stories on the way. - Love, MRHG

What a wonderful way to pass the time! I loved this story. The characters were dead on and the interaction was hilariously funny! I'd highly recommend this short story! - Crystal Michallet-Romero - Sep-15-2006
A teenaged Xena has one of those days and needs a little personal space from a small friend of the family named Gabrielle. Alternative Plot. One of the first in my "Origins of Xena" series. Added 3/12/05

"wow that was so interesting! i could definitely see a pint-sized gabrielle spouting off at the mouth about ancient gods, and i could totally see xena as a tomboy in her teens..but related? its wierd, but it kinda works..." - darkestsayin - February 19, 2008
"Interesting tale and concept" - Magnus the Wolf - March 23, 2005
Young Gabrielle encounters some trouble during her third year at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Alternative Plot, Sexual Humor. Added 12/28/04 1/9/05 - Athenaeum's Top 25 # 17 slot.

On a sweltering summer night, Gabrielle is suffering from severe writers block. Who's capable of helping her resolve her steamy romantic stories? Made THE ATHENAEUM'S Top 25 within the first few days of being published and remained on this chart for two straight weeks!

Desperate for some cash Xena & Gabrielle take one of Hercules' junk jobs. Fun times in the tiny Kingdom of Eroticus. Added 12/22/04 1/9/05 - Athenaeum's Top 25 in the #6 slot and a #10 slot in the 2nd week.
Reviews:
"Made me laugh! You're right in your dialogue about Gabrielle. Nice diversion. Thanks for posting!" - Alex Tryst
This story makes my "To Do" list seem dull! More please :) - Halvah - Sep-14-2006
Gabby's Latin isn't all that great. I'll blame any grammaritical errors on her. *s* Probably should have asked Eve/Livia but she was off with her wacky cult. Xena got it in her head to ask for a peanut butter & jelly sandwich and this is what resulted.
Added 12/25 as result of a story challenge. 1/9/05 - Athenaeum's Top 25 # 11 slot
"Scenes We'll Never See" series: Some short scenes I've developed that are very alternate due to non-canon plot line, violence or sex. I wrote them for the sheer thrill of exploring the idea.
"Origins of Xena" Series: My interpretation and explorations of Xena's background, youth, family. You will find alternate, non-canon ideas here and some that are dead-on canon, merely left out by the original authors.
Works have been listed on softassteel.com (warrior's hut), Academy of Bards, Fanfiction.net, forevaxena.com, The Athenaneum to name a few. I thank those publishers for allowing me to publish my work.
Special thanks to C.V. Klein, my writing mentor.
