The Outlaw Star speed through space, its red hull was like a zooming meteor across the sky.
"All systems Green" Melfena said from inside her little tank.
"Warning Gene, five Grappler ships are approaching, they are lunching camera bot there going to attack." Gilliam said with the small sense of emotion in his voice.
"Releasing Camera bots" Jim said as he jumped into the Graper arm 2 control chair.
Gene was already in his captain’s chair. He was activating the Graper Arms. He was very excited to go into battle.
"Gene they’re here" Gilliam said.
"Lets GO!" Gene said as he stepped on the throttle sending them off.
The Outlaw Star when into battle. The Grapler arms were ready to pounce on their target.
"Mel, can you handle the Lasers and Missiles?" Gene asked as Melfena took control of them.
As the Outlaw Star passed the first ship Jim smacked it with the Axe grapler arm, destroying it. After the ship exploded Gene was busy shooting down one of the other ships with his blaster grappler arm.
"Time to blow a hot kiss to my loving fans" Melfena said as she shower 2 of the other ships with missiles. Jim was surprised to see her copying Gene's quote and not his.
"Now I think Ill run away....."A man said through the comm. before he fled the battle.
"What a chicken" Gene said.
"He (DUNDUNDUN) is here." Gilliam said.
"Whose he (DUNDUNDUN)"Jim asked.
"No one." Gene said as he walked of the bridge leaving them to wonder.
Gene walked off the bridge leaving the rest of them to wonder.
"Gilliam, who is He (DUNDUNDUN)"Jim asked.
"Jeff Star wind" Gilliam replied.
"Gene ahs a brother? Melfena asked.
"Ya and he’s a sleaze ball, Ill go help Gene. "Jim said as he walked off the bridge.
Gene was sitting in his quarters with his head in his hands remembering the events of the past just before his father died. Jeff was about Gene’s age, and Gene was about 14.
Start Flashback
"Gene I’m blasting off’ Jeff screamed as he pushed Gene back through the airlock back into his fathers ship.
"Jeff don’t go you’ll die" Gene screamed as tear fell down his face.
"Dad’s a fool, you guys will get killed. Gene come with me. If you go I can save your life. We can be partners!!" Jeff said as he set the ship up for launch.
"I’m sorry Jeff I cant do that." Gean said. When he was finished talking Jeff gave him a Heero Yuy look and closed the airlock and left. Later that day Gean’s dad was killed.
End Flashback
Gean was upset, he was crying. He hadn’t cried since his father died. Unknown to him Jim was in the room. Jim put his hand on Gean’s back
" I know, I know…… Let it all out I know what he did to you. If he hadn’t taken the grapler ship you dad would not have died. Your dad may be gone but you still have me. I’m your Friend, Business partner, and you first mate and I will always be here for you. Jim said as he supportively rubbed Genes back.
Gene had not stopped crying.
"I’m just so upset of that part of my life. I keep think, if I had done this…or that…"Gene said.
"I know…I know I’m here for you." Jim said again.
"Thanks Jim" Gene said as he cleared his eyes.
They sat down and they started to talk about Asha and Sazuka. They were on a trip and we were to meet them at Galanor 7. Then one of the service bots came in and Gilliam started to talk.
"Gene, He (DUNDUNDUN) is in a small grapler ship outside and the little damage taken from the battle has been repaired." Gilliam said.
"He (DUNDUNDUN) is requesting to come aboard." He continued.
"Open comm." Gene said almost aggravated.
As the comm. Opened we see a 30-year-old man with red hair and blue eyes, very strange combo.
"What are "YOU" doing here" Gean asked.
"I’m here to pay a visit." Jeff said.
"When did you hear I was alive?" Gean asked.
"When you did so well in the Hafon space race." Jeff answered.
"Your not supposed to be able to answer that….." Gean said.
"Let me on Gean, Let me on to the XGP." Jeff said almost evilly.
"Gilliam let him on but make it a point to keep a VERY VERY close eye on him." Gean said as he closed the comm.
Gean walked of to the Hanger, as Jim looked on concerned. Gean had that LOOK in his eyes. The look that means he’s planning something. Jim decided to forget about it and walked down the hall to his room were he took off his Jacket and went to sleep. When he woke up Jeff was gone, he got up and went to the bridge. Melfena was in her tank and Gean was in the Captins chair and on the View screen was Galanor 7.
"Ah I see you woke up Jim. How did you sleep?" Malfena asked.
"Just fine thanks. Hey Gean how did you talk with Jeff go?" Jim said.
"Just fine we meet on his ship not ours. We talked nothing ells happened." Gean babbled.
"Oh…" Jim said.
"The drop ship with Ashia and Sazuka is now in the Hanger and they will be here on the bridge soon." Gilliam reported.
"All right prepare from Sub-Eather drive as soon as they get up here." Gene said.
Jim was rubbing his eyes with his red shirt when Ashia came up behind him and scared him. By the time Jim was finished cursing there were already in sub-eather drive for an hour.
"I don’t understand you Ashia, why do you do this?" Gilliam scolded.
"I do it because its fun!!!" She replied.
"Warning Warning sub-eather missiles 9 o’clock low" Gilliam informed us.
"What" came from all around the room.
"We can’t fight at this speed. Can we out-run them?" Gean asked.
"No, we can not" Gillioam replied.
"CUT SUB EATHER DRIVE" Jim scream witch was a hint on how cereus the situation had become.
"Newton reactors not responding" Melfena said.
"Shutting ship down" Gene said as the ship slowed to a stop. When the Outlaw Star stopped they realized it was to late. The missiles had hit their sub-eather engine and damaged it extensively. Gilliam started to repair it but it would be 3 days before they could enter sub-eather again.
"I am a little concerned with our location" Sazuca said with a small bit of worry in her voice.
"Why" asked Jim.
"We are in the middle of Kataro-kataro space." she answered.
"We………we…. are???"Ashia said stuttering.
"Ya we are, you think you would be happy…"Jim said.
"Well I was, well…"she started.
"Banished" came from all around the room.
"Great 3 days here" Sazuka said.
"What is the status of the eather drivers?" Jim asked.
"All four eather-drives are operating within normal peramioters." Gilliam replied.
‘Why only the sud-eather drive…Gene though as he rub his eyes and got out of his chair.
24 hours later
"Gene we will be arriving at Coz’Modon of the tri-planet alliance shortly. I have contacted their space port and have reserved us a landing pad, we will be able to repair faster with the help of the space ports equipment." Gilliam said as the service bot flew by.
"Ok we have 2 million won this time so we should be able to pay the fees this times" Gene said.
"Gene, there is some really big bounty on Coz’Modan." Jim said as he typed away at a computer.
"Really whets the highest reward?" Gene asked.
"200,000,000 won" Jim replied. When Jim said the amount of money Gene was drinking coffee, when he heard it he spit it out all over the table.
"2…..200…..200,000,000……200,000,000 w…..wa….won…."came from all over the room.
"And there’s plenty more were that come from" Jim said.
"Wow…."Gene said.
"Now it time to make some money" Gene said now recovered from the shock.
"Gene that will have to wait…"Gilliam said now with a very worried tone.
"Why is that?" Gene asked.
"Incoming missile 10 o’clock high. Ill handle them." Gilliam said now very very worried (Being very much like him…..heh)
"Going to Grapler combat mode" Melfena said as soon as she entered here little tank.
"It’s a Kataro-Kataro battle groop!!" Ashia said as soon as she got to the scanners.
"There are 7 kataro-kataro battlecrusers" Gilliam said.
"We can’t take that many" Jim said.
"Jim Ill hand the weapons you scan for sub-eather streams!!!" Gene said.
