Chapter 5
Bottom of the Hill
I walked out of my house with a confident look on my face. I looked around and saw the Z senshi, like I said. I smiled. Everything was going according to plan so far. Cell was going down this time!
"Is everybody here?" I called out. For some reason, I saw Son Gokou get in his fighting stance, then refrain from doing his Kamehameha at me.
"Yeah, we’re all here—" trunks started.
"Minus one," I muttered then sighed as I thought about my sister again… what Cell could be doing to her… if he didn’t already absorb her again. Damn him, I thought.
I started walk over to the Z senshi, but stopped when I realized that the others were glaring at me, remembering what I did to them before Cell’s time at being "the bad guy". Before… I was the "bad guy"… before that, Dr. Gero… and I DID kill my maker, putting me in charge of "being the bad guy"; but it was fun to kick Dr. Gero’s head off and smash it.
I sigh and take out my Cell Diminisher. Instantly everyone turned toward me and put their hands up to attack.
"WOULD YOU STOP THAT? I’M NOT THE BAD GUY HERE!" I yelled and, to my shock, they listened to me and put their hands down.
"That’s better." I held up my weapon, saying, "This is my weapon against Cell… it may not look like much, but it is as powerful (and maybe even more powerful) as let’s say… SSJ Gohan." I said confidently, smirking my famous "trickster" smirk.
"Great! Let’s get going!" Gokou said impatiently. I looked at the Saiya-jin.
"You’re hopeless… we don’t even know WHERE Cell took my sister!" I spat and walked off. I’ll search for them myself! I don’t need the Earthlings’ help, I thought as I wandered where my senses took me.
My senses took me to the edge of some woods, where I saw a piece of cloth on one of the branches on an outer tree. I picked it off and realized that it was from Juuhachigou’s jacket. Whatever he did, he must have carried her away… before absorbing her?
"Hey! You need any help?" I heard behind me. I turned around to see the Z senshi, and in front was Nix.
"Have you been following me?" I yelled while putting the piece of cloth in my pouch.
"Uhhm… Hai?" Nix answered. I groaned as the senshi caught up with me. All of a sudden Piccolo got in my face.
"Do you know how dangerous it is trying to go up against Cell all by yourself?" he yelled. I looked up at the Nameksei-jin and gave him a smile.
"Don’t worry, Dad! I’m a big boy now!" I said sarcastically. Suddenly, I was whacked upside the head by a green hand.
"GOMEN! Jeez, don’t you know sarcasm when you hear it?" I said, combing my hand through my hair. Then I started walking through the woods, searching for any sign of my sister’s existence after her disappearance at the hands of Cell. I sighed sadly for I feared that if she were alive, she would soon be dead.
The search continued…
Chapter 6
The Woods of Despair
I didn’t want to call for Juuhachigou; if Cell were around he’d hear me and kill Juuhachigou, if she was still alive.
I led the senshi of the Z, looking around constantly for other clues as to the whereabouts of Cell and Juuhachigou. I stopped, as did the others.
"Let’s rest here," I said without looking back, but I could tell they were relieved to sit down after an hour or so of walking. I decided to sit as well, but beneath a tree far from the Z senshi to recollect my thoughts on what has happened in the past day.
Unknowingly, I drifted off into a deep sleep.
There was something different about this dream… I felt that it was more of a premonition than a dream:
I felt a cool wind around me as if it was a winter-like scene, but it was not. I looked around, figuring I’d find the Z senshi, but I didn’t. The surroundings were different somehow, and I was in a small room, locked in by a glass case. I tried pounding on the glass, but I couldn’t move. Then I saw it; the face of Cell, looking at me through the glass, laughing at my despair. I tried to scream out, but I couldn’t speak. My eyes grew wider as I saw my sister Juuhachigou… laughing with him. I wanted to scream so badly, to break out of the glass… to kill Cell.
The two disappeared, but I was still in my glass casing, as freaked out as ever. Then I saw my future… a dark future, but it was a future. I was to become an evil being, a Super Junanagou…
Suddenly, a mysterious woman appeared. She looked nothing like anybody I knew.
"This could be your fate, Junanagou. You could spend the rest of your life as an enemy, or you can sacrifice your sister and stay alive. What will it be?" she asked and disappeared, letting me ponder that thought.
"Awaken, Junanagou."
I awoke from my sleep with a new sense of fear.
